Bleach London launches its first ever make-up line – The Independent
From humble beginnings with a one-chair salon at the back of WAH nails, to opening one of the first ever stores to focus on colour rather than cutting, BLEACH LONDON singlehandedly reinvigorated the haircare industry, but it isn’t about to stop there.
Synonymous with hair trends like rainbow roots, blorange and even leopard print hair, the new era of BLEACH has set its sights on beauty with a entire make-up line that promises to satiate your fixation with all things unicorn-inspired.
Plus it’s 100 per cent vegan, cruelty-free and is packaged using recycled and recyclable minimum waste materials.
Led by three of the most inspiring women working in fashion – founder and creative director Alex Brownsell, supermodel Georgia May Jagger and beauty director Lou Teasdale – the launch includes a myriad of pressed glitters, 14 make-up brushes, eye shadows and lips kits all designed as wearable versions of the existing hair colours BLEACH sells.
Now, you can dye your hair rose and wear the coordinating make-up for an all-pink guise without running the risk of looking too OTT.
The shades range from black to vibrant red, deep violet and electric blue but aside from the beguiling scope of shades themselves, the names are garnering some well-deserved attention – think Washed Up Mermaid (blue) and Text Me Black (black) to Matte Le Blanc (pink), and, our personal favourite, Gordon Brown (brown).
Launched on July 13th, BLEACH LONDON MAKEUP is available to buy now at bleachlondon.co.uk and in Superdrug stores nationwide.
