Although Ford admitted this was her first time ever dying a client’s underarm hair, it’s no wonder the result was so perfect.
After all, she didn’t amass her 56,900 Instagram followers by being mediocre at hair dying.

🌈💞🍭Lisa Frank Rainbow Surprised 🍭💞🌈 Well it isn’t quite Thursday yet, but I’m throwing back to the #pulpriothair rainbow’ed look just the same! This was definitely a favorite in 2016! I use my model @friendswithdevils really quite frequently, and people ask me all the time how we keep her hair in such good shape! 👆🏻 Firstly, I always use @brazilianbondbuilder in ALL formulas 💞💞💞, b3 is absolutely amazing! There is a reason why so many big stylists are switching to b3, and that’s because it WORKS 🙌🏻! I use it in all of my bleach and it does not slow me down with lengthened processing time, or force me to use harsher levels of developer, I also love that it is a one step system, so it saves time over all! I can then use B3 in my direct dye, turning any direct dye into the ultimate conditioning treat for the hair 😍. Lily also uses the b3 shampoo, conditioner and mask at home to continue to maintain those bonds! ✌🏻 Second, for my ladies who love to switch their color up frequently I try to stay realistic about what can and cannot come out of the hair. Sure, that dark navy looks AMAZING now, but pulling that out for next week’s pastel rainbow look may be a challenge 🙈. I always try to think of my fashion colors in the long term, rather than just in-the-now! It’s always important to talk to your clients about whether or not they have thought about what they want to do after THIS color! Sometimes it’s best to dilute your color a bit to avoid having to re-bleach to remove color, especially when you know your client will be back in four weeks with another Pinterest Mermaid she wants to be turned into! 🙌🏻🌈🍭 And lastly, make sure your clients are using high quality shampoo, conditioner, styling tools, and products! Salon quality products can be the difference between color that lasts for weeks and color that lasts for just a couple washes, and quality conditioner is essential for keeping compromised hair from snapping! I also ask my clients to make sure that any heat styling tools they use have ADJUSTABLE temperature settings and recommend a safe temperature for them! @pulpriothair #brazilianbondbuilder #inspiredbyb3 #rainbowhair #pastelhair
