YouTuber Bunny Meyer Curled Her Hair With Fidget Spinners – Allure Magazine

Bunny Meyer, who is better known as grav3yardgirl on the Internet, has wrapped her hair around several weird items that we wouldn’t dare to in the name of her popular “Can It Curl?” series on YouTube. She’s sacrificed her hair to create perfect ringlets with Cheetos and Shirley Temple-style curls with tampons. Most recently, she transformed her straight hair into beachy waves with fidget spinners. The stress-reliving toy is no longer relegated to spinning around with your fingers. Fidget spinners apparently can be twisted into hair, too.

Meyer ordered a box of 100 glow-in-the-dark fidget spinners to see if they really work as curlers. (She ended only needing 18.) The short answer: yes, they do work. However, after all was said and done, Meyer noted, “This is definitely one of the most painful things I’ve ever done for the Internet.” That’s a pretty huge statement if you ask us.

She started off by wrapping a small section of wet hair around each side of a fidget spinner. Then, she clipped the ends of her hair to the fidget spinner with a bobby pin before clipping it to her head with another pin. After a couple of the curls were all set, she was into the look. TBH, if fidget spinners are still a thing by Halloween, you can be one for Halloween by putting a couple in the front of your hair like Meyer.

By the time half of her hair was twirled into fidget spinners, Meyer’s head started feeling weighted down by all the toys. In fact, she said curling your hair with fidget spinners falls into the category of “odd things you see on the Internet that you should not do under any circumstances.” She added, “It is fun and it is surprisingly easy to do, but it also is so heavy that it’s actually a pain in the neck — literally and figuratively.” Yikes.

The final result was actually kind of pretty. However, actual curlers already exist, so you may want to save yourself a headache (and neck ache) and simply not try this at home. You can watch the whole video below.
