Nadene Lomu, the widow of All Blacks great Jonah Lomu, has started a cosmetics company as a way of overcoming her grief following her husband’s death.
Her new website says the venture is a way of “expressing the creativity she had shared with Jonah”.
“She realised she needed to find a way to bring herself back to life, to become again the Nadene Jonah had always known her as,” the website says.

“… That was the start of Nadene reinventing her life, as an example to their two sons Brayley and Dhyreille. Elegance, simplicity, values and ethics are what they stood for as a family.”
Nadene said a day had never passed without a compliment from Jonah, and her goal in creating Nadene Lomu Cosmetics was to give all women the chance to “feel brighter on a dull day”.
Her make-up range include lipstick and lipglosss, mascara, eyebrow pencils, eyelash serums and manicure products.
“I wanted to bring quality products to ladies of all ages and ethnicities without them having to pay high-end price tags,” her website says.
